BJP’s national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawalla launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress over the issue of vigilantism on Friday. He alleged that the TMC government in West Bengal is protecting its suspended party leader Shahjahan Sheikh. Poonawalla stated that while Prime Minister Modi is advocating for “Save the Daughter, Educate the Daughter,” on one side, Mamata Banerjee is sending a message of “Save Shahjahan” through vigilantism in West Bengal on the other side.
