Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the Ministry of Home Affairs has increased the security of Anupriya Patel, leader of the Apna Dal (S) party and Union Minister. According to information, Anupriya Patel will now be provided Z-category security in Uttar Pradesh. Currently, Union Minister Anupriya Patel is provided with Y-plus category security by the central government.
