In the Electoral Bonds Case, the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court comprising five justices heard the plea of the State Bank of India (SBI). Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra rebuked SBI, questioning their actions over the past 26 days. It should be noted that SBI had sought an extension of time to disclose details of electoral bonds issued by political parties.
