Congress Member of Parliament Abdul Khalek from Barpeta has resigned from the Congress party. Abdul Khalek has also raised questions on the conduct of Assam Congress President and Secretary by writing a letter to Mallikarjun Kharge. In fact, this time Congress did not give Abdul Khalek a ticket for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress had released a list of 12 candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in Assam on March 12.
