For the Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced candidates for 51 seats in the first list for the state of Uttar Pradesh. If Uttar Pradesh was absent from the second list of the BJP, it is not without reason. The BJP, having set the goal of winning all 80 seats, including allies, in Uttar Pradesh, is deliberating seriously on each name for the remaining 24 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
