Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, there has been speculation of discord within the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance. Demand for changing the candidate from the Gautam Buddh Nagar constituency in Delhi has surfaced. There is a demand to give the ticket to a youth candidate. The matter has even reached Akhilesh Yadav’s court. Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party district president Sudhir Bhati has stated that there is no factionalism within the party.
