Union Minister Anurag Thakur criticized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s claims of running the government from jail, stating that it is a disrespect to the people of Delhi and to the constitutional democracy. Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday night in connection with a money laundering case related to the Delhi excise policy. Thakur mentioned that investigative agencies had summoned Kejriwal nine times, but he did not participate in the investigation.
