In the Relief Fund Case, the Karnataka government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the central government, stating that the state was not receiving financial assistance to deal with the drought situation in certain areas. The bench of Justice B.R. Gavai and Justice Sandeep Mehta has asked the central government to respond to Karnataka’s petition within two weeks.
