In the first phase of voting in West Bengal, not only central forces but also state police will be in charge of security. The Election Commission will deploy more than 10,000 state police personnel at three centers for the first phase. Police from various districts of North Bengal will arrive at the centers at least three days before the polling day. The first phase of voting will take place at three centers in West Bengal.
