The Calcutta High Court has accepted a case of contempt of court against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The court accepted the case based on three separate petitions filed by lawyers Vikas Ranjan Bhattacharya, Anindya Sundar Das, and Kaustav Bagchi. The administrative branch of the court, chaired by Chief Justice TS Shivagnanam, will decide which bench will hear the case.
