The Punjab government of Pakistan sought time from the Lahore High Court on Friday to rename Lahore’s Shadman Chowk after freedom fighter Bhagat Singh. The petition demanded action against the top officials of provincial and district governments for not following the court’s order to rename Shadman Chowk after Bhagat Singh.
