New Delhi: The Centre informed the Supreme Court on Monday that nearly 3,400 crore rupees have been released to the Karnataka government for drought management. The bench of Justice B.R. Gavai and Justice Sandeep Mehta was hearing a petition filed by the Karnataka government, which had demanded directions to the Centre to release financial assistance from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) for drought management in the state.
