On Tuesday, the Israeli army radio reported that Israeli forces have taken control of the Palestinian side of the Rafah crossing. Rafah crossing is located on the border with Egypt in southern Gaza. The Israeli military will soon issue a statement to confirm this. Several explosions were reported in the Rafah area on Monday night after residents were given notices to vacate eastern Rafah on May 6.
