
Bhopal, March 21 (IANS) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Friday said that Madhya Pradesh’s Chambal region will soon be recognised for the industrial development of the state.
He made these remarks on Friday while performing the ‘bhoomi-poojan’ for a Rs 1,000 crore modern mega unit of a firm in Malanpur Industrial Area of Bhind district.
He said that the firm is establishing a mega-scale modern unit at Malanpur with an investment of approximately Rs. 1,000 crore.
“This project is a historic step for the state’s industrial landscape, promoting employment, agro-based industries, and a greener environment. Elixir Industries Private Limited’s contribution will be a significant milestone in Madhya Pradesh’s industrial progress,” the Chief Minister said.
On this occasion, bhoomi-poojan was also conducted for 7 units at Gwalior Readymade Garment Park and 11 units at the industrial area of Piparseva, Morena district.
Addressing the gathering, CM Yadav said: “Chambal is now recognised for its development. Many industrial units have been established in the region due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the commitment of the state government.”
Mohan Yadav reiterated the government’s commitment to industrial development in the state.
He stated that through Investors’ Summits and Regional Industry Conclaves, investors have been invited from both within the country and abroad, yielding positive results.
“Numerous industrial units are being established in the Gwalior-Chambal division, providing better employment opportunities for the region’s youth,” the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister added.
He also mentioned that alongside industrial growth, the government is making decisions to benefit farmers.
The Chambal-Kalisindh-Parvati (PKC) Link Project will bring prosperity to the region, with Chambal receiving the most significant benefits.
