  • Modern technology and job creation will transform the state, new Uttar Pradesh strengthened through security, good governance and transparency

News Street Live, Muzaffarnagar, April 13: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, “Uttar Pradesh is progressing steadily, but some people are conspiring against this growth.” He appealed to the workers of the state to remain cautious of those attempting to spread industrial unrest and not allowing their efforts to succeed under any circumstances. The double engine government is firmly advancing the journey of development and heritage, placing workers, farmers, youth and women at the centre. While the government is promoting modern technology, employment and investment, it is equally committed to maintaining law and order and safeguarding workers’ interests.

Chief Minister assured that along with industrial development, social security will also be ensured so that an environment of peace, stability and prosperity is maintained in the state.

While inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of 423 development projects worth Rs 951 crore in Muzaffarnagar on Monday, the Chief Minister said, “Today the double engine government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi is presenting a strong model of security, good governance and service in Uttar Pradesh. However, when the state is moving towards development and peace, some people are trying to create unrest through conspiracies.”

Chief Minister appealed to employees and workers working in all industrial units to remember how the government stood with them during the COVID period. During that difficult phase, the government ensured transportation, quarantine and food arrangements for workers and safely brought them home.
He urged them to remain cautious of those trying to create industrial unrest.

Chief Minister added, he also appeals to industries in this regard to establish direct communication with workers and employees. He said, “Our government stands with workers. The government will provide security to entrepreneurs and protection to every worker, and will also ensure their proper remuneration.”

He also said, a corporation has already been formed last year and its recommendations are going to be implemented this month. Under this, whether it is a sanitation worker or any youth working on outsourcing, he will be guaranteed minimum wages. The amount fixed by the government will be transferred directly into his account and no middleman will be able to usurp his rights.

Chief Minister stated, “This arrangement will not remain limited to government departments only, but in the next phase, efforts are being made to implement it in industrial institutions as well, so that every worker can get social security. We have also provided cashless health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh to teachers, Shiksha Mitra, instructors, cooks, Anganwadi and ASHA workers. Further, efforts are being made in collaboration with insurance companies to ensure health security for every worker.”

Chief Minister said, it is his good fortune that he got the opportunity to unveil the grand statue of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar on this sacred land of Shukdev, the karmabhoomi of Bharat Ratna Chaudhary Charan Singh and Chaudhary Ajit Singh.

He informed, “The 350th birth anniversary of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar was celebrated across the country last year with great enthusiasm under the inspiration of Prime Minister Modi. At that time, the central and state governments decided that to keep her legacy alive, working women hostels would be constructed. At present, 14 working women hostels are under construction in the state, which will draw attention to her legacy.”

Chief Minister said, from Jagannath Puri to Somnath, from Kashi Vishwanath to Rameshwaram, during the period of India’s subjugation when the system was constrained due to Mughal invaders, Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar worked with full dedication to preserve India’s heritage. She showed the country what an ideal model of justice and good governance looks like. She was the ruler of Malwa, but remained dedicated to preserving the cultural heritage of the entire country.”

He also added, today’s Kashi Vishwanath temple is an example of this, which was rebuilt by Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar after it was demolished by Aurangzeb. Every true Indian pays homage to Lokmata Ahilyabai.

Chief Minister stated, “The contributions of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar and Chaudhary Charan Singh were not for any caste or individual, but for the nation. Because of their contributions, we are here today. Great personalities should be respected and not confined within narrow caste boundaries.”

He said, “The country became enslaved when such great personalities were divided along caste lines. He asked whether the clarion call given by Dhan Singh Kotwal in the First War of Independence was for any caste. Were those who were martyred in Muzaffarnagar sacrificing for their families? Did Rani Lakshmibai, Maharana Pratap, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Guru Gobind Singh fight for any caste? No, they fought for the nation and dharma and sacrificed everything for their protection.”

He stated, Chaudhary Charan Singh also spoke for the welfare of all. He spoke for farmers, villages, workers, youth, fields and agriculture. He never spoke about caste, and that is his greatness. Expressing gratitude towards such great personalities is the duty of all of us. He appealed not to confine them within caste boundaries. These great personalities are national icons, guides of society and the nation. A national hero has no caste. A national hero is one who gives direction to the country. Youth draw inspiration from them. When an Indian soldier fights at the border, he does not see caste, he sees the nation.

He said, if any enemy tries to infiltrate the country, the Indian soldier gives a befitting reply. He belongs to every caste, but his identity is one, India. Therefore, national issues should not be politicized and some areas should be kept above politics where the nation remains supreme.

Chief Minister informed, “On Tuesday, the birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar will be observed. The government has recently decided that wherever statues of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Sant Ravidas, Maharshi Valmiki, Sant Gadge Ji and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule are installed in public places, if there is no boundary wall or canopy, the government will provide funds for it. The government will ensure protection of these statues, build boundary walls and provide roofing. Great personalities belong to everyone. The Constitution that empowered us and gave us the right to progress was crafted by Baba Saheb. Did he work for any one caste? No, he worked for the entire society. Therefore, such great personalities should not be viewed narrowly. There should be respect and gratitude towards them, and we should move forward with that inspiration. Baba Saheb’s Constitution gives us the guarantee of jobs and employment, inspires us to progress and provides direction to live with dignity.”

Chief Minister said, this is the same Uttar Pradesh where before 2017, no new industries were established and even existing industries faced closures. Daughters and traders were not safe. The situation was similar in Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Meerut, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad and Moradabad. There was a crisis of identity. Today, the situation has completely changed. Employment opportunities have increased and law and order has strengthened.

He further added by saying, before 2017, recruitment processes did not follow rules as previous governments promoted nepotism. Now recruitment is being carried out with transparency. In 2017, the state had the capacity to train only 3000 police personnel. Last year, 60,244 police personnel were recruited. These youth, including a large number from Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat, are being trained in training centers across Uttar Pradesh. On the 20th, their training will be completed and thereafter they will join the Uttar Pradesh Police and be deployed at their respective police stations, including both young men and women.

Chief Minister informed, “While visiting the Rozgar Mela, he observed the enthusiasm on the faces of the youth, which made him happy. When confidence is visible on the face of a young person, it symbolizes the future of India.”

He said he feels happy seeing farmers smiling and daughters and sisters feeling safe. This confidence forms the foundation of a new India under the leadership of the Prime Minister. Making every youth skillful and connecting emerging technologies with traditional technologies to provide employment to every hand is the government’s priority. Thousands of people are present at the event, both inside and outside. Development projects worth Rs 951 crore have been inaugurated and launched in Muzaffarnagar.

He said, these include advanced facilities such as a Center of Innovation, Incubation and Training, where youth will be trained in Artificial Intelligence, robotics, drone technology and 3D printing. Today’s youth know how to use smartphones, but if they learn industrial applications of these technologies, their demand will increase globally and they will get better employment opportunities. These initiatives have been started with this objective.

Chief Minister added, “The sense of security and comfort we experience today is not possible in countries like Pakistan, Iran, Dubai, Qatar, Iraq or Europe. This is the result of Prime Minister Modi’s leadership that 145 crore Indians feel secure today. This reflects the strength of a new India. In many countries, inflation is at its peak and prices of petroleum products have increased manifold, but the situation in India remains under control. The central government is bearing an additional expenditure of crores of rupees daily to provide relief to the public so that the common citizen is not burdened. When there is a secure environment, a person’s confidence increases.”

He said that however, discipline must be maintained in favorable conditions and patience must not be lost in adverse situations. A person who follows both will have a bright future. The NDA will continue this journey of development and heritage in a strong manner, without stopping, without wavering and without bowing.

He stated, “The government guarantees security to every daughter, every trader, employment to every youth and water to every farmer’s field along with ensuring fair prices for their produce. This is the government’s guarantee and it will be fulfilled completely.”

On this occasion, Union Minister of State Independent Charge for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary, State Minister for Science and Technology Anil Kumar, Minister of State Independent Charge for Vocational Education and Skill Development Kapil Dev Agarwal, Minister of State for Energy Somendra Tomar, Bijnor MP Chandan Chauhan, former Union Minister Sanjeev Balyan, District Panchayat Chairman Dr Veerpal Nirwal, BJP Regional President Satyendra Sisodia, Lok Dal Regional President Tarun Pal Malik, Legislative Council Member Vandana Verma, MLAs Rajpal Singh Balyan, Madan Bhaiya, Mithilesh Pal and Municipal Council Chairperson Meenakshi Swaroop were present.
