A dreadful fire erupted around midnight at the Magh Mela in Shriramnagariya near the Kadri Gate police station area on the eastern side of the bridge on the Etawah-Bareilly highway, leading to the explosion of several gas cylinders, causing panic. The fire brigade vehicles stationed in the fair area promptly arrived at the scene and, after strenuous efforts, gained control over the fire.
