Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved $40.5 million loan for the Integrated Early Child Development (ECD) Scheme and Maternal Mental Health Program in Meghalaya. ADB gave this information on Wednesday.
The state government is contributing $15.7 million in this project. Under this, the care system for children living in homes (up to 1.5 years) and children living in various centers (from 1.5 years to six years) will be strengthened through Anganwadi centers in Meghalaya.
