ADG Law and Order of Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Yash, said, “In light of today’s ‘Friday prayers’ and yesterday’s incident at Banda Jail, a high alert has been declared across the entire state. Peace prevails throughout the state. Prayers are still ongoing in some places, so vigilance is being maintained. There are no problems anywhere.”
