Air India’s Bengaluru to SFO Flight Diverted to Alaska Due to Technical Issue, Returns to SFO

An Air India flight bound for San Francisco (SFO) from Bengaluru, carrying over 280 passengers, was forced to divert to an Alaskan city due to a technical problem, as reported by an airline representative.

Following the resolution of the technical issue, flight AI 175 resumed its journey and safely landed at San Francisco around 1000 hours Indian time on Monday, the official stated.

With more than 280 passengers onboard, the flight eventually reached its intended destination, albeit with a delay of approximately four hours, according to the official.
