Russian President Putin told leaders of African countries during the Russia-Africa Forum in St. Petersburg that they do not reject the proposal for peace talks regarding Ukraine. This is almost the first time since the start of the war that the Russian President has made such a statement in a public forum regarding peace talks with Ukraine. He said that the offer made by China or the efforts made by Africa can become the basis of peace talks.
