The Assam Wrestling Association (AWA) was on Saturday granted the membership of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) for which the state body had moved the court and got a stay on the election of the national federation.
The Indian Olympic Association’s (IOA) ad hoc committee for wrestling informed the AWA that its application for membership has been accepted with immediate effect.
