Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated on Monday that the ULFA agreement has been made to ensure the safety of the people of Assam. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for this. He said, “I thank PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for making this agreement to ensure the safety of the people of Assam. We have achieved this agreement to safeguard the people of Assam.”
