Australia’s Anabel Sutherland scored the fastest double century in women’s test history.

Perth: Australia’s Annabel Sutherland on Friday scored the fastest double century in the history of women’s Test when she achieved the feat in 248 balls on the second day of the one-off Test against South Africa here.

Earlier, the record for the fastest double century was in the name of Karen Rolton of Australia, who completed her double century in 306 balls against England in Leeds in 2001.
