Ayodhya: In 1949, the central government had instructed the Uttar Pradesh government to remove the idol of ‘Ram Lalla’.

New Delhi: Former Secretary of Culture and former Director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, Raghavendra Singh, has made a big revelation regarding the Ram Temple. He revealed that in 1949, the central government had immediately asked the then Uttar Pradesh government to remove the idol of Lord Ram. In 1949, under the leadership of then Chief Minister Govind Ballabh Pant, the Uttar Pradesh government was directed by the central government to remove the idol of Ram Lalla. A few days later, it was reported that the idol of Ram Lalla had suddenly appeared. Following this, Pakistan Radio had broadcasted the news that a particular community, after Partition, had taken possession of the vacant place.
