Ayodhya: The auspicious ceremony of the Laxchandi Mahayagya is set to commence on February 22, on the banks of the Sarayu river, in front of Golaghat. Prior to this, on Wednesday, the ritual purification puja was conducted. In the 100-pit Mahayagya, 1500 scholars will recite the Shri Ram Sukta and one lakh Ganapati Atharvashirsha for 17 days. Havan will be performed with the recitation of ten thousand Chandi paths. Chief Minister Yogi has also been invited for the Yagna.
