A substantial number of aspirants have gathered at the SCERT Office. Their demand is that the government includes B.Ed in primary teacher recruitment. B.Ed aspirants are urging the government. Against the Supreme Court’s decision, the government has issued an ordinance. In India, there are approximately around a crore of troubled B.Ed aspirants. In Uttar Pradesh, B.Ed aspirants are peacefully demonstrating at the SCERT office, Nishatganj, Lucknow, today, demanding the inclusion of B.Ed in the recruitment process.
The demand of the aspirants will persist, and the government should find a solution to the issue. In Uttar Pradesh, nearly 40 lakh B.Ed aspirants are applying for primary teacher recruitment with hope, but they have been disappointed due to the Supreme Court’s verdict. Just like the government had turned around decisions on issues such as transfer postings, the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner, and the continuation of the Chief Justice of India in the Supreme Court’s decision, the government should also issue an ordinance on the B.Ed matter. The aspirants are planning to meet the Deputy Chief Minister soon regarding this matter.
