BJP MLA Suvendu Adhikari and Congress leader Kaustav Bagchi took part in a protest rally organized by aspiring candidates for school jobs in West Bengal. This participation has led to accusations from the ruling TMC of a “hidden alliance” among the CPI(M), Congress, and the saffron camp in the state.
The protest was organized by aspiring school job candidates on Camac Street in South Kolkata, where TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s office is situated.
Adhikari stated, “The school job aspirants, who have been adversely affected by the corruption within the TMC government, have organized a protest rally and have invited me to join as the leader of the opposition in the assembly. What’s wrong if Kaustav Bagchi also participates in the protest?”
