Bhimtal: Closure of Bhimtal-Ranibagh road from 10 am to 5 pm, connecting the Kumaon region, has led to traffic jams on the Bhawali-Jyolikot route. Increasing pressure on vehicles caused congestion in Veerabhatti, Bhujia Ghat, and Gethia on Sunday. People, including wedding processions, faced difficulties as vehicles were stuck in jams. Even after the Bhimtal-Ranibagh road reopened after 5 pm, the police released vehicles one by one due to the long queues.
