BHU has taken several steps to achieve the goals of implementation of National Education Policy. Student Leadership and Life Skills Development Initiative and Student Welfare Initiative have been started in the Institute and Faculty. Student Welfare and Leadership Initiative Committees have been constituted for the Faculty of Visual Arts, Education, Management and Sanskrit Vidya Dharma Vigyan. Vice Chancellor Prof. Sudhir Kumar Jain said that all round development of the students is the topmost priority and lack of funds will not come in the way. Students should get opportunities to grow professionally, personally and academically. The Vice-Chancellor also stressed on involving the students in outdoor and outreach activities without restricting them to classrooms. So that they can be develop into capable person and citizen.
