Maratha Reservation: The Maharashtra Cabinet has given the green signal to the bill proposing 10% reservation for Marathas in education and government jobs. The government has rectified the flaws in the bill, based on which the Supreme Court had invalidated the Maratha reservation. Manoj Jaranje, who advocates for Maratha reservation, demands that the government issue caste certificates to Marathas belonging to the Kunbi community.
