At the Sonepur Mela on Wednesday, Amarendra Kumar Pandey, the Director-General of Bihar Special Armed Police, announced that there has been an increase of one lakh in the police force. In the near future, Bihar is set to recruit an additional 2.28 lakh personnel into the police force. Bihar Police is facing several new challenges, and this step is expected to address those issues.
