For the Lok Sabha Election 2024, Jitin Prasad, the candidate from the Bharatiya Janata Party, has filed his nomination. His nomination saw the participation of the State Election Coordinator of BJP, along with all the district presidents of the party and the Minister of Jal Shakti, who is also the Minister of State for Sugar Industry and Development, among others. On Wednesday, the procession of the BJP candidate departed from the party’s district office to the collectorate.
