There are five states and two union territories in South India. Here BJP has only 30 Lok Sabha seats, while regional parties have 74 seats. The situation of Congress is even worse. However, it has strengthened its ground position after winning Karnataka and Telangana. Now Shivraj Singh will take the lead in strengthening the party.
