The government is gearing up for the Budget Session scheduled to commence from January 31. As part of the preparations for parliamentary security, a contingent of 140 CISF personnel has been deployed within the Parliament premises. This CISF unit will be responsible for scrutinizing incoming visitors and inspecting their belongings. It is worth noting that heightened security measures were observed during the Winter Session of Parliament last year on December 13.
