In Mohali, thieves broke into a house, stealing 40 tolas of gold, diamonds, and cash. The complainant, Jatinder Jota, had gone to his ancestral home in Hoshiarpur village, Langari, with his wife and children. When they returned on September 17th, they discovered that the main door lock on the first floor was broken. Upon entering, they found that a burglary had taken place, and they immediately reported the incident to the police.
