China Calls for G20 Countries to Vigorously Promote Economic Globalization, Emphasizes Unity and Cooperation

Beijing/New Delhi, Sep 9 Chinese Premier Li Qiang emphasized the imperative of unity among G20 members and advocated for cooperation, inclusivity, and unwavering support for economic globalization.

Li, the second-highest-ranking leader of the Communist Party of China (CPC), is presently in New Delhi representing President Xi Jinping at the annual G20 summit hosted by India from September 9 to 10.

During his address at the inaugural session of the 18th G20 Summit in New Delhi, Premier Li stressed that this influential alliance requires “unity rather than division, cooperation over confrontation, and inclusion rather than exclusion.” The G20 member nations collectively account for approximately 85% of the global GDP, over 75% of global trade, and about two-thirds of the world’s population.
