In the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, human rights activist Shunichi Fujiki has accused China of persecuting and oppressing Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang. He stated that commercial centers there are operating as detention centers. He has urged the UN Human Rights Council to take immediate action against this.
