Churchill’s Old War Office Transformed into Luxury Hotel by Hinduja Group

The Old War Office (OWO), once the workspace of Britain’s World War II-era Prime Minister Winston Churchill, has been reborn as a luxurious hotel in London. The grand opening was celebrated with a glittering launch event that featured surprise musical performances by renowned musicians Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Andrea Bocelli.

Princess Anne, the Princess Royal and sister of King Charles III, had the honor of officially unveiling the plaque for The OWO. This took place after her tour of the hotel, accompanied by GP Hinduja, the co-chairman of the Hinduja Group, on Tuesday evening.

The event also saw a brief visit from British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who was joined by parliamentarians, entrepreneurs, hoteliers, and stars from the world of film and television.
