Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Adityanath, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the preparations concerning law and order in the state in anticipation of the upcoming festivals. The government issued a statement to this effect.
Emphasizing the delicate nature of law and order during festival periods, the chief minister highlighted the need for constant vigilance and caution. He remarked, “The festival season demands our unwavering attention and diligence. Our approach should cater to the specific requirements of each locality to ensure the celebration of every festival transpires in an atmosphere of tranquility and concord,” stated Adityanath.
He also noted, “The negligence of even a minor incident can escalate into a significant dispute,” underscoring the necessity for heightened awareness. He stressed the importance of added surveillance and watchfulness during this time.
