After inaugurating the Chief Minister’s Micro Entrepreneur Accident Insurance Scheme at Lok Bhavan, CM Yogi said that till 6 years ago it was considered a sick state. No one wanted to come to UP. Hearing the name of UP used to create fear among the people, but now the scenario has changed. The recent report of RBI and NITI Aayog states that UP has become the state with maximum investment within the country, attracting maximum number of domestic tourists and giving maximum amount of funds from banks to industries.
‘UP is being known as the best destination in the country and the world’
He said that on World Entrepreneurship Day, financial assistance of up to five lakh rupees will be given under the Chief Minister’s Micro Entrepreneur Accident Insurance Scheme to provide financial security to micro, enterprise units. He said that this change has not come suddenly. With the inspiration and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government assured security to every investor-partner by linking every section of the society with the scheme of governance without any discrimination. As a result of this, UP is being known as the best destination in the country and the world. Its background was set in 2018, when PM Modi inaugurated UP’s first GIS.
