Prime Minister Narendra Modi has accused the Congress of abusing him 91 times, and criticised the party’s treatment of the Lingayat community, BR Ambedkar and VD Savarkar. Modi is campaigning in Karnataka ahead of the state’s elections on 10 May, and will address at least 19 rallies across the state. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh accused Modi of playing the victim card and “abusing” his opponents.
