Congress has surrounded BSP along with BJP over the Rajya Sabha elections. The state president has stated that in the Rajya Sabha elections, both Congress legislators voted in favor of the SP candidate while adhering to the coalition principles. Whereas, by the BSP legislator voting in favor of the BJP, it has become clear that BSP is working as a B team of BJP.
