Covid-19 Cases in India: The pace of the coronavirus shows no signs of slowing down in the country before the onset of the new year. In the past 24 hours, India has reported 743 new cases of Covid-19. According to official figures from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, seven people have lost their lives in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases in the country has increased to 3,997.
