Dehradun, October 17 (IANS): After the monsoon’s departure, Uttarakhand is experiencing a change in weather. Pink chill has made its presence felt in the state. However, the Meteorological Department has already issued an alert for rain and snowfall, along with strong winds, in the state from October 16. On Monday, the state experienced heavy rain, snowfall, and thunderstorms. On Tuesday, the weather department issued another alert for rain, snowfall, and storms in several districts. The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of snowfall in areas above 3,500 meters in the Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh districts.
