The Directorate of Education (DoE) said on Thursday that there is a strict ban on the use of mobile phones by students in classrooms in government and private schools in Delhi.
Teachers and other staff have also been asked to avoid using mobile phones in places like classrooms, playgrounds, laboratories and libraries.
