Patna News: The Education Department has reiterated several times before that attendance of students in colleges is mandatory at 75 percent or above. Despite this, negligence is being observed. In most affiliated colleges, daily student attendance ranges between 55 to 60 percent, which is a cause for concern. Now, the department has asserted that if there is low attendance, direct action will be taken against the principal.
