Lucknow: A new era of convenience has dawned at Lucknow Airport as the ‘DigiYatra’ digital travel service has been launched. Starting from August 15th, passengers can now enjoy the seamless benefits of this service, allowing gate access by facial recognition. This revolutionary advancement eliminates the need for any additional documentation such as voter IDs or Aadhaar cards when entering the airport.
In celebration of Independence Day, the ‘DigiYatra’ service has been inaugurated at Lucknow Airport, signifying a major leap towards passenger convenience. The installation of ‘Facial Recognition’ machines under this service will enable gates to automatically open upon recognizing the passengers’ faces. This landmark initiative is propelling Lucknow towards becoming a hub of digital travel convenience in Uttar Pradesh, solidifying its status as the second airport in the state to provide ‘DigiYatra’ services.
