
The ‘Green War Room’, operating as the Delhi government’s control center to monitor air pollution and redress complaints in the national capital, will start functioning round the clock from October 3. Officials gave this information on Monday. The ‘Green War Room’ was commissioned in 2020 and is equipped with state-of-the-art air quality monitoring equipment. A team of experts including scientists and data analysts work in it. An official said, “The Green War Room operates throughout the year, but from Tuesday it will start working 24 hours a day.” The Delhi government has taken steps to reduce air pollution in Delhi during the upcoming winter season. A 15-point action plan was released on Friday.
