The counting of offerings and donations coming to Baba Kedarnath Dham, the eleventh Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva in Uttarakhand, started in a transparent glass room from Monday. For this, a transparent glass room (glass house) has been built by the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC).
BKTC spokesperson Dr. Harish Gaur said that through CCTV cameras in the Glass House, monitoring of donations and valuable material will be done. He told that after special worship of Baba Kedar, the transparent counting room made of glass was inaugurated. Ramesh Chandra Tiwari, Executive Officer of BKTC and Rajkumar Tiwari, President of Kedar Sabha inaugurated it by participating in the puja-archana.
According to Dr. Gaur, Vedpathi Yashodhar Maithani, Lokendra Ruwadi, Pradeep Semwal, Arvind Shukla, priest Shivling were present on this occasion. He told that in order to maintain transparency in the donations offered in the temple, this glass house has been constructed through a donor. Due to continuous adverse weather this year, difficulties were faced in transporting material to Kedarnath Dham. Due to this there was some delay in the construction of the Glass House.
