The incident occurred on Monday afternoon when the Boeing Poseidon 8-A aircraft overran the runway at the Marine Corps base and crashed into Kaneohe Bay.
Due to a disturbance during landing, a surveillance aircraft of the US Navy landed in the waters of Oahu, an island in Hawaii.
